Since I am on a shopping spree

Ladies and Gents- the new GPS watch has been ordered

It officially goes on sale tomorrow at Because I am in the “know” I got to order mine a day early. I am a little  sketch on buying something when it’s new because there is a good chance that all of the kinks haven’t been worked out. Ehh- if it’s not working or something goes haywire Nike will take care of it. Or at least they better!

Here are the details from the website:

Very simple GPS watch.  Retail price is $199. Nike has not yet announced when it will be available in stores. I will do a review once mine arrives.

Just got notification from UPS my shoes were left on my front door step…yes!!!!

A whole lotta Tuesday- running, reality, I’m exhausted!

I got a few grumpasaurus emails regarding yesterday’s HAUTE STUFF post.  As I previously mentioned HERE and HERE, you do not have to be a female, or a mom, to be featured as a HAUTIE. Dudes are A-OK. We don’t need to be IRL friends. You don’t have to be a runner. In fact, you don’t even have to be HUMAN! You just need to be doing something to get healthy and inspire us. It’s pretty simple. Love ya all, but dang, throw a girl a bone!

Now that we got that out of the way, lets all hug it out and move along. If you are all kinds of RAD, DON’T BE SHY, please shoot me an email so I can brag about you in the coming weeks. Seriously, I love doing it! Oh, and if you have a blog or a website I’ll include it.

Today’s Workout: Track Repeats:  Warm Up, 6 x 800 (6:30-6:40 pace; 1:30 Rest Interval), Cool Down. Lots of stretching and core. Total time: 1 hr.

My right hamstring still hates me. It probably didn’t help that I did speed work today, but I am less than 2 weeks away from Safari Park and want to be ready to rock. Does anyone know any good stretches? I busted out the Arnica Gel along with the stick but I’m still hurtin’ for certain.

For those of you that run on the Nike Plus program, the GPS watch is going to be available for pre-order any day now. I still haven’t received pricing info, but I expect it to be competitive with Garmin. Garmin’s RULE so Nike has A LOT to prove.  If you do run with Nike Plus, the new challenge starts on March 6th:

You need to sync 50 miles by March 31st and you will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of Nike Lunar Haze running shoes!

(These are dude’s shoes. Colors vary for men and women)

The odds depend on the number of people entered. If you want more info click HERE

In Bach news…

The final two are:

I like them both, but Em is my fave. In fact, I hope Brad doesn’t pick her. I want her to be the next Bachelorette. Is that selfish of me or what? Did you watch? What do you think?

I have a butt-ton of reports to get done today. See y’all tonight for HRM afterhours.
